Welcome to St Peter's!
Here at St Peter's Murrumbeena, we aim to be a centre of love and hope for people of all ages and backgrounds. Our community includes people from diverse backgrounds and various Christian denominations.
We offer a safe place for people to explore their hopes, fears, and purpose in life, and to become part of a caring community. We meet to pray, listen to God's word, be fed by Jesus, and find ways to live our faith in our community.
We are a joyful gathering of people of faith called to commit ourselves to share the values emanating from God's immense love for the whole of creation.
At St Peter's, we as a community desire to live to the ultimate expressions of love; co-operation, care and commitment to whoever we come across. We welcome you to this parish: people of all faiths, gender and nationalities. St.Peter's is a parish where we want "you" to share in all "we" have to offer.
In a changing world; we believe that we are called to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Most of us seek Freedom, Peace and Spiritual nourishment. In Jesus, we find all what we need to nourish our lives. It is our prayer and wish that each member share these to our fellow beings.
On Fridays and Sundays at 10am we have Holy Eucharist services.
Fellowship of Contemplative Prayer - meets on Fridays
Mother’s Union - first Wednesday of the month
We are a parish in the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne.
The Anglican Tradition
Far from being a faith of the past, Anglicanism presents a rich spiritual tradition that has matured into a worldwide movement of Christians on every continent. The Anglican tradition offers a refreshing alternative to our postmodern world by helping us reconnect to the historic Christian faith in a way that speaks to our present age.
